If you already own the AP, you will be given the Token at no extra cost to you.
You can purchase the Token separately if you do not wish to own the AP, but do wish ppl to know you are an adult.
Owning the Token does not give the rights to posting on the AP forum.

The Token is to verify you are the age you say you are. If you are older or younger IMVU will overwrite your age in their records (and your HP).
The age verification process is through a 3rd party. Your personal information will not be stored or used for any other purposes by this 3rd party.
If the 3rd party cannot verify your age, you can send appropriate information to IMVU, which will store it in a secure location but never use it for any other purpose. Your avatar name needs to be included.
The 3rd party verification system is for US residents only, all others outside the US must send in appropriate documentation to IMVU.
